Stress Proof Your Life

If you want to improve your health by taking action to reduce and prevent the build-up of stress in your life, then this course is for you.

In this 4 week course you will learn how to

  • recognise your early warning signs of stress
  • make sense of the causes of your stress
  • use practical techniques to reduce and prevent stress.

At the end of the course you will have new skills which, with practise, will enhance your health and happiness for life.

There is a also condensed, workshop version of this course available. While it cannot cover the material in the same way, the workshop serves as a great introduction to stress management tools. Please click on the workshop tab in the main menu bar.

Is this course for me?

If you are aware that stress is affecting your health or happiness, or want to prevent stress building up, this course provides you with the opportunity to take a step back and reflect on how to make positive changes. With a very practical focus, this course will teach you stress management techniques so that you protect your health and are able to enjoy life.

No previous experience of this type of course is necessary, just an open mind and a willingness to take part. You won’t need to share confidential information.

What style of course is it?

There will be a maximum of 12 participants and a mix of activities including some exercises that you are invited to do in pairs and groups. There will also be a variety of guided relaxation exercises.  I take great care to ensure that everyone feels comfortable: activities are designed with that in mind.
