My Sleep Well Programme is a retraining programme for the mind and body. It tackles the five key areas for good sleep:

  • sleep hygeine - habits and routines to promote sound sleep

  • relaxation - techniques to relax, stop endless thinking and develop the ability to get quickly back to sleep when you wake up

  • lifestyle - strategies to minimise work and home stress and ensure your daily schedule supports good sleep

  • thoughts - control your thoughts,  stop dreading sleep and feel confident about sleeping well again

  • sleep schedule - retraining your mind and body to feel sleepy at the appropriate times so you wake up refreshed and ready to go.

With this comprehensive CBTi based Programme, I am confident that you will really notice a difference from week one. In fact, if your sleep has not remarkably improved by the end of the Programme,  I will refund your fee in full, without quibble.

OK. I'm ready to get my sleep back on track. What do I do?

The Core of the Programe is delivered via 3 coaching sessions, each of up to 90 minutes (the first two sessions are usually the most intensive but as your sleep improves, you need less input from me).
In the first session we will make a full assessment of your sleep followed by detailed and practical advice tailored to your specific sleeping difficulties.
The second and third sessions will build on each other and in each call you will again receive tailored support and strategies.  After the calls you will also receive a follow up email,  summarising the key steps together with supporting resources such as handouts or my Sleep Well guided audio exercise. 
You can also email me in-between the 3 coaching sessions if there is anything you need help with. 
 
The fee for the Core Programme of 3 Sleep Well coaching sessions together with course materials and email support  is £330 or £125 per session if booked individually. If, at the end of the core programme you would benefit from further sessions, then we can arrange these to suit you.  Some people however find that they do not need further support but it does depend on the nature and severity of your sleeping difficulty.

Why you need to tackle your sleep now:

Poor sleep affects the whole of your life: your energy levels, work performance, relationships and physical health. 

Sleeping pills may help you in the short-term but they stay in your system for a long while. This means that you often feel sleepy well into the next day.

Taking sleeping medication to help you sleep also does not address the underlying problem. You may become dependent on the pills, meaning that your ablity to relax and sleep soundly is further undermined.

How does the Sleep Well Programme work?

We arrange 3 coaching sessions (face to face or by Skype) preferably at weekly intervals.  At the end of the 3, we'll review how satisfied you are with your sleep and you decide if you'd like any further sessons.

We start with a full assessment of your current sleeping patterns. This enables  me to design the Programme around your specific needs.  Then, each week, you'll learn tried and tested techniques to solve your particular sleeping problems. These techniques are based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBTi).
There will be high quality Programme resources to support your progress and you'll also receive a copy of my Sleep Well mp3 - exercises specifically designed to accompany this Programme.
 

All being well, you will be enjoying great sleep within 3-5 weeks. You then have the option of further coaching sessions should you need them.
