
Managing time effectively
Are you always rushing or find that your “to do” list just gets longer and longer? Or simply find that you don’t have time to do the things you really want to do?
We can’t manage time – we can only manage ourselves and our use of time. This half-day workshop teaches the key skills of better planning, prioritising and delegating and develops an understanding of why we procrastinate. It also covers how to be assertive and say “no” without giving offence.
In this half-day workshop you will
- learn how to tackle your top time wasters
- understand how your attitudes or beliefs are adding to the problem
- have new ways to decide which tasks need doing first
- have learnt the most effective ways to say 'no' without giving offence
- know how successfully enlist the help of others

Is this workshop for me?
If you find you have too much to do, at work or at home, and think that you would benefit from learning how to manage your "to do" list more effectively, this workshop is for you. It will teach you practical ways to get to grips with the demands made of you so that you can enjoy a more relaxed quality of life. No previous experience of this type of workshop is necessary.
What kind of workshop is it?
There will be a maximum of 14 participants and a mix of activities and exercises that you are invited to do individually and in small groups. The workshop will be informal and friendly with a practical focus so that you are able to take action immediately.
