Stress-proof your life: practical stress management techniques

Is your life one big juggling act? Would you like to learn practical ways to prevent and manage stress?

We all lead busy lives and need a range of skills in order to deal effectively with life’s challenges. There is a fine line between positive pressure, when we feel motivated and good about ourselves, and negative stress, when we start to feel overwhelmed and our emotional and physical health can suffer.

In this half-day skills workshop you will learn how to

  • recognise nature's early warning signs of stress
  • make sense of the causes of your stress
  • use practical techniques to support you in everyday life

At the end of the workshop you will have new skills which, with practise, will enhance your health and happiness for life.

What will the workshop cover?

  • the early warning signs of stress
  • understanding personal stressors
  • how personality and other factors influence the stress we experience
  • practical stress management techniques
  • guided relaxation exercises
